Tour de France 2012, prologue and first stage
2nd July 2012 – The French challenge started Saturday 30th June with an individual time trial in Liège, a Belgian town, and it was a real fight but at the end Fabian Cancellara – Radioshack did it followed by the winner of Critérium du Dauphiné Bradley Wiggins – Team Sky and by Sylvian Chavanel – Omega Pharma Quick Step. Yesterday, along the route Liège – Seraing, it was instead the young rider Peter Sagan – Liquigas winning the first stage; behind him the actual owner of the Yellow Jersey Fabian Cancellara and an excellent Evald Boasson Hagen – Team Sky. Dot Jersey for Michael Morkov – Saxo Bank. The Tour actually will re-start in France from the third stage on.
