Tour de France 2012, stage 12
14th July 2012 – Resuming yesterday stage is quite easy: outriders escaped and the group was late. In fact one of the fugitives won: David Millar – Garmin Barracuda, followed by Christoph Péraud – AG2R and by Egoi Martinez – Euskaltel Euskadi. Then the group arrived and there was a fight between Peter Sagan – Liquigas and Matthew Goss – Greenedge, who, owing to a foul against the Slovak rider, was demoted losing a lot of precious points.
